Meet The Rosebud Pet Vet Team

  • Dr Cutts
Dr Dennis Cutts thinks being a vet is the best job in the world. After graduating from the University of Sydney in 1981, he worked for two years in a mixed practice on the western outskirts of Sydney.

In 1984 he moved to Sunbury and developed a practice treating the full range of domestic and farm animals. Since 2000 he has restricted his practice to pet animals and developed strong interests in orthopaedic conditions, general surgery and behavioural issues.

In recent years he has enjoyed spending more time with clients helping them keep their pets healthy and happy.

A desire for a sea change and the opportunity to continue providing veterinary care to the community has led Dennis and his wife Robyn, to start Rosebud Pet Vet.

Dennis realises that in the information age people can be overwhelmed and confused and need someone they can trust to help sort through the different options for their pet’s health.

Outside of work you may see Dennis and his fox terrier Jimmy walking on the foreshore, or whizzing past on his bicycle, or even trying to keep afloat on his kayak.

  • Robyn Cutts
Robyn has over twenty years of experience as a vet nurse and is keen to extend her kindness and knowledge to clients.

An initial passion for horses led Robyn into veterinary nursing and she still maintains that link with the occasional ride on her Thoroughbred, Jake.

Her nursing skills have been put to the test with her own animals, ranging from a featherless cocky and a blind fox terrier, to an adventurous cat and a geriatric horse.

Robyn has nursed in a variety of practices including an emergency centre and has developed strong surgical nursing skills. She has wide ranging experience – from puppy training through to bereavement counselling and loves helping people and their pets.

  • Karen Baroni
After having worked overseas and locally, Karen has found her niche at Rosebud Pet Vet.

Her calm and friendly manner quickly puts clients and their pets at ease. She has had many pets and currently is mum to a cheeky schnoodle named Charlie.

  • Emily Klesman
Emily is a local girl with lots of animal experience.

She has worked at a shelter and as a groomer and also fostered rescue kittens. She is a qualified Certificate IV veterinary nurse and has a young labrador cross who she recently adopted.

  • Dr Hartley-Jackson
Dr Barrie Hartley-Jackson graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in London in 2003 and gained a wide range of experience before moving to Australia.

He and his wife and 2 children have settled in Mount Martha and he has worked in a number of vet clinics throughout Melbourne.
Barrie brings to Rosebud Pet Vet, his broad clinical experience and surgical skills. When not working, Barrie and his family are involved with the Mount Martha Lifesaving Club.

  • Jenny Morabito
Jenny's love of animals has seen her return to vet nursing after a break of several years.

She has had extensive experience nursing a wide range of animals, including fostering kittens in her own home. Jenny's bright and bubbly personality quickly endears her to clients
